On a journey between what Castendo was and what Penalva do Castelo is today, the mural with over 30 meters in length highlights the endogenous products of this municipality (Bravo Esmolfe Apple, Dão Wine, and Serra Cheese). The variations between “black and white” and the colors used refer to the idea of memory and support the possibility of, in its observation, traveling from the past to the present of this village in the interior of Beira Alta. The panel also portrays several of the most prominent monuments of this municipality.
